Voter Rights
VOTER EDUCATION
New voter laws were past, some of the most restrictive in the nation to disenfranchise many Ohioans. One of the most devastating changes is the new requirement for a unexpired photo ID. Often this is difficult for many individuals to purchase documents needed to obtain the ID, find transportation as well as paying for the ID itself. This will greatly impact senior citizens and individuals struggling to recover from the pandemic.
Each year we will help register new voters and answer questions about the voting process. This year we will have the help of an organization Vote Riders to help individuals through the process of obtaining their photo IDs.
